My Finger is on the Button…
Does this scare the crap out of anyone else?
Nabil Shaath [Palestinian Foreign Minister] says: “President Bush said to all of us[In June 2003]: ‘I’m driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, “George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.” And I did, and then God would tell me, “George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq …” And I did. And now, again, I feel God’s words coming to me, “Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.” And by God I’m gonna do it.’”
- From an interview in the upcoming BBC documentary “Elusive Peace: Israel and the Arabs.”
“George, go and get yourself a ham sandwich.”
I know I sure feel safe in the hands of the leader of the free world. What’s not great about a guy invading countries because a little voice in his head told him to do it. If this is what the angel on his left shoulder is telling him what to do, just imagine what the devil is whispering in his ear from the right. Maybe we have it wrong. Angels bad, devils good?
Angel-”George, that there country is yours for the taking!”
Devil-”George, don’t do it! Think about all of the innocent lives that will be lost! Let’s get a ham sammich instead!”
George-”Screw you devil! C’mon Angel, let’s blow some shit up and start a war in the Lord’s name. No one’s ever done that before!!”
God bless America!!
I miss you dave, come home soon. Love you.

Just read about a huge earthquake to hit Pakistan and being from a country as small as Canada I could only assume that any earthquake to hit a country must be felt by everyone living in it.
From the looks of the map, it seems to me that Karachi is about as far away from the main part of the earthquake as it could be while still being in Pakistan.
Hope your OK Dave.
Hey Dave,
I’m with Jeff on the worry from Canada. I woke up to CBC radio stating that thousands had been killed. And all I was worried about was how to cook squash properly… Dave, please post an update as soon as you can and let all of us here on the other side of the world know that you and Sophie are all right.
Thinking of you,
Nance
